VIDLEARN® is a leading online educational resources provider within teacher training and online secondary education. We are looking for teachers and educational professionals to assist in developing online resources for our courses.

Who we’re looking for

We have immediate positions available for professionals in education who would be interested in contributing to our online resources portfolio.

Our minimum requirements are:

• You must have QTS.
• You must have experience of teaching in the UK.
• You must have confident and dynamic presentation skills for filming.

Work involved

• You will normally be asked to proof and familiarise yourself with previously prepared presentations prior to filming.
• Following this, you will spend time at our studios in Gloucestershire filming the session(s).
• Full training is given within an informal and relaxed setting where you are filmed by experienced and understanding staff.

Pay

• You will usually be paid on a per session basis but we work this out so that it is possible to earn between £400–£600 per day at our studios.
• How many sessions you complete is directly associated with how well you prepare prior to filming. If unprepared, you will be regularly stopped and restarted and this will affect your overall earning ability.
• Preparation and proofing of the slides is included in the per session price and not paid separately.
• All payments are made on a self employed basis and you will be contracted to arrange your own tax affairs.

1. Prepare a video of you presenting

   We must see a 5 minute video of you presenting a session of your choice. If you already have prepared online content, please enter the link in the box provided.

   If not, please record 5 minutes of your favourite session in front of a PowerPoint presentation using your phone or other device. You can then upload your video to a service such as WeTransfer or upload as an unlisted YouTube video to create a private link.

3. Attend a paid induction day

   All applicants whose video and background meet the requirements will be invited for a paid induction day at our studios in Gloucestershire. We will instruct you in the use of our equipment and film a couple of sessions in your specialist subject. This is a full day (dates arranged at your convenience) and is paid at a flat rate of £400.

4. Part time contract if successful

   Applicants who successfully complete the induction day and prove confident, subject accurate and engaging on camera will be offered a part time contract to regularly film content for us.
